Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ROAR was the perfect venue for our wedding, and the rooftop absolutely made it. We wanted something that felt special and memorable without feeling overly formal or stuffy, and the rooftop could not have been a better setting. Having downtown Winston-Salem around us gave the whole evening an atmosphere that would have been impossible to recreate in a traditional wedding venue. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. Just as importantly, the owners were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. They genuinely wanted the event to be successful and worked with us to make that happen rather than making us feel like we were just another event on the calendar. The combination of the rooftop, the location, and the people made ROAR an absolutely fantastic choice for our wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a unique event space in Winston-Salem.

We went to go watch the soccer game yesterday and there was only one other table in this place. They said you have to order your food at the kiosk and then they will text you when it’s ready. I ordered my food ON THE COMPUTER with NO HELP from any staff. I also picked up my food when it was ready (nobody brought it out). We also threw our trash away and put the dirty plates where it says to put them. I get the receipt texted to me and they charged a 23% gratuity charge and a 3% facility fee! That’s an additional $9 for them doing NOTHING. Also, the staff was not friendly, they sit around on their phones and act like they are miserable. No wonder why the place was empty! Tipping culture is out of control. We always tip. 20%-30% (as long as the service is good) we still even tip 10%-15% if the service is not good because we understand sometimes people have bad days. I used to wait tables so I get it but establishments should never force people to tip because you’re hurting yourself. If I would have had someone wait on us and provide good service, they would have probably gotten a $15 tip from us. You’re really hurting yourself by doing this. Won’t be back. The food was also not good

Waste of time and money. We bought the $75 VIP tickets because the event was advertised as a great place to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. We almost chose the Dash game instead, which was only about $22 per person, but decided to pay more because we expected a premium experience. Unfortunately, the fireworks were completely blocked by a building, so we couldn't see them at all. Watching the fireworks was the only reason we came to Roar, and the advertising led us to believe we'd have a clear view. The VIP package also promised a cabana and bottle service, but we received neither. It was obvious the event had been oversold, yet no one informed guests or offered any type of refund or compensation. The drinks were overpriced, with a 22% gratuity automatically added to every order. Even after that, the bartenders still asked for additional tips. There was no air conditioning, and there was no sign of management to address any of the issues. This event completely ruined what should have been a fun Fourth of July. We paid premium prices and did not receive the experience that was advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is so much fun. We want to come back when it's dark and how everything glows. The staff there is very nice and helpful. The guy that was hosting and working the front door was nice enough to show us around. They have a roof top area where you can sit and talk and they have a bar there. The views are awesome. The second floor has a bar and candle pin bowling 🎳 and arcade games. The main floor is where you order your food. We got a medium size pepperoni pizza for 19.00, cans of soda are 3.50 a piece. They also have all their beer taps where you get a fob and you can pour your own beer from the taps. They also have an area where there's a stage and bar. They were setting up for a soccer game FIFA game. On the basement level is the putt putt golf. That was so much fun. Everything is electronic so you don't have to keep score. We got to bring our food there and ate and played golf. They also have a bar on that level also. They do have a parking lot next to the building that's 3.00 to park there. I highly recommend this place it's really fun for both kids and adults although its a adult playground.

It was and Easter event so very family friendly. However there was not clear direction given about how the events were organized or the timing. Our kids did not get any treats from the egg/ticket hunt because we didn't not understand when it started or ended. They and the parents were disappointed. The bar service was good, not great. The fish was actually very good and worth the price of the event. The owner was very accommodating as we had a large party to celebrate a birthday as well. That was really nice! Some of the golf games were broken in the mini golf and they could lunch that area up a bit to attract the kids. Disappointed kids equal unhappy parents. The rooftop area was great! The band was very loud on the main level but there are plenty of other areas to go. The Arcade was very fun but typical of other family entertainment spots.
